Belvedere and panoramic walkway of Valentino Park

One of the most beloved destinations in Piani dei Resinelli is the cantilevered walkway suspended over the void—a spectacular balcony overlooking the Lecco branch of Lake Como.

It can be reached with a pleasant 20-minute walk inside Valentino Park, which offers free admission.
Following a dirt trail with an elevation gain of about 150 meters, once you reach your destination, the structure rewards you with a breathtaking, 180-degree-plus view that completely envelops your gaze. On clear days, the horizon stretches from the Brianza lakes to Monte Barro, all the way to the Corni di Canzo.
From the walkway, you can either head back to the starting point or continue along one of the park’s other trails.

Monte Coltignone

For those wishing for a different perspective, a slightly uphill trail starting from Valentino Park leads to the summit of Monte Coltignone in just 20 minutes.

From this privileged vantage point, your gaze sweeps from the iconic profiles of Mount Resegone across the entire Valsassina, gifting a sense of freedom and a breathtaking view to anyone who loves the mountains.

Cima Paradiso

Continuing from Monte Coltignone, you can easily reach Cima Paradiso, a place that lives up to its name (“Paradise Peak”) with an incredible view and a wide, flat meadow.

It is the perfect destination for those traveling with children, who can play here in total freedom. After the walk, all that’s left to do is enjoy a picnic break or soak up some sun lying on the grass, before completing the loop trail and heading back toward the Valentino Park exit.
